Terroir :

Monte Do Além is located in the Algarve, in southern Portugal, on clay soil with 5 hectares of red grapes, including 1.3 hectares of Petit Verdot and 1 hectare of white Sauvignon Blanc and Alvarinho grapes. The vines grow in soil clean of pesticides & herbicides.

Vintage & Vinification :

Hand harvested in individual buckets and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aging for 1 year in French oak barrels and ceramic amphorae.

Tasting :

Well structured, powerful on the palate, with a predominance of red fruits.
