Lentil, coconut and dried frui tvegan balls!
Ahhh ask me if I like to turn my kitchen into a lab and make up my own recipes.
It may go well, or very wrong, but once thing I can tell,these vegan balls have made my week worthwhile !!!
I cooked, for about 10 minutes, 200 g of orange lentils [shelled] in boiling water (seasoned with salt).
I
drained the water and and poured it into the food processor. I added
100 g of grated coconut, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
I crushed everything and added almonds, walnuts, and lightly broken sunflower seeds (to your taste).
incorporated and, placing my hands in the dough, made about 16/18 vegan balls.
I baked in the oven for 10min at 180C.
Note: they match well with a homemade sauce, for example yogurt.
