The “Mercearia Bio Green Card” is a free card, without any commitment or link, which allows the Adhering Customer to enjoy all the advantages of being a “Bio Desafios, Lda.” Customer, with even more benefits, discounts and promotions, which we are reporting through the online store in wwww.merceariabio.pt and on the digital platforms of Mercearia Bio.

In a first stage, the card can will only be able to be used at Mercearia Bio Café, in Portimão, but soon, Adherent Customers will also be able to use it at our online store https://www.merceariabio.pt.

To join the “Mercearia Bio Green Card”, the Customer will have to fill in the membership form available at the following link:

After completing the membership form and accepting the General Conditions for Contracting and Using the “Mercearia Bio Green Card”, available on this page, the card will be sent, in digital format, with the name of the holder and an associated Customer number.

From here, the Customer can use the card at Mercearia Bio Café, simply indicating one of the following identifying elements: name, Customer number, vat tax or telephone number.

Freguês Mercearia Bio Card Benefits

To kivck off with this new project we will have the following benefits associated for all Adhering Customers:

- 5% discount on purchases at Mercearia Bio Café store, in Portimão, for a minimum purchase of € 35, excluding coffee consumption;
- offer of an espresso coffee, per holder, on Saturdays when making purchases without any associated minimum amount;
- card launch campaign valid until 09/30/20 - 10% discount on all cafeteria items;
- special discounts on marked products.

All benefits, campaigns and promotions cannot be combined with other offers, campaigns and promotions running.

General Conditions of Contract and Use of “Mercearia Bio Green Card”

1 – The Mercearia Bio Green Card aims to create and make available a set of benefits, offers and discounts, specific to Adhering Customers. These offers, discounts and benefits are communicated through the sending of the newsletter, sms, whatsapp, email or other type of communications that “Bio Desafios, Lda” may use. By subscribing to the Mercearia Bio Green Card, the Customer expressly accepts to receive these communications regarding benefits and other information, within the scope of the Mercearia Bio Green Card.

2 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card is a free card, without any commitment or link, which allows the Adhering Customer to enjoy all the advantages of being a “Bio Desafios, Lda.” Customer, with even more benefits, discounts and promotions.

3 - In order to be awarded the Freguês Mercearia Bio Card, the Adherent Customer must complete the requesting orm, filling in all the mandatory fields and mentioning the acceptance of these General Conditions for Contracting and Using the Mercearia Bio Green Card.

4 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card is only used to identify customers, giving them the right to enjoy all the advantages of that card.

5 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card is a virtual card, sent electronically after subscription, with the image of the card and the number associated with the Adhering Customer.

6 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card, on this date, can be used at the Mercearia Bio Café, belonging to “Bio Desafios, Lda”, in Portimão and in the online store with the address https://www.merceariabio.pt. In the future, it may be used in other Mercearia Bio stores.

7 - In physical stores, the Adherent Customer may request the association of the Mercearia Bio Green Card to their invoice to enjoy the benefits associated with the Card, showing their Mercearia Bio Green Card, in digital format or providing one of the following elements: taxpayer or phone number, name or card number.

8 –In the online store Adherente Customer can use the Mercearia Bio Green Card to associate with their purchases, when the field for entering the number of the Mercearia Bio Green Card is available.

9 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card remains the property of “Bio Desafios, Lda.”, And the identification of the Adhering Customer can be requested to prove the attribution of the card.

10 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card is personal and non-transferable and can only be used by the cardholder.

12- - “Bio Desafios, Lda.” reserves the right to decide which campaigns are associated with the Mercearia Bio Green Card and establish its operating rules.

13 - “Bio Desafios, Lda.” reserves the right to revoke or change any benefit associated with the Mercearia Bio Green Card without prior notice, with any changes published on the website www.merceariabio.pt, as well as to grant different benefits to each Adhering Customer, according to criteria defined internally by the company.

14 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card is intended for citizens over 18 years of age.

15 - If the Adherent Customer wants to revoke the adhesion to the Mercearia Bio Green Card, he / she must send an email to the email address cartaofregues@merceariabio.pt, with the following information to be included in the subject: Cancellation Adhesion Card Freguês Mercearia Bio. In the email, indicate only the following elements: name and number of the cardholder.

16 - The Mercearia Bio Green Card can only be used after the submission of the form and the respective sending of the Mercearia Bio Green Card, in electronic format, by “Bio Desafios, Lda.”.

17 - “Bio Desafios, Lda.” reserves the right to resolve the present General Conditions of the Mercearia Bio Green Card by canceling the cards and respective benefits, whenever a crime, fraud, misuse or commercial use is detected, involving the Mercearia Bio Green Card .

19 - Law no. 58/2019, of 8 August 2019 (which ensures the implementation, in the national legal order, of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016) and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter “GDPR”) ensures the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and free movement of such data.

20 - In legal terms, any information, of any nature and regardless of its support, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person is considered “personal data”, so the protection does not cover the data of legal persons.

21 - Upon acceptance of these Conditions, the Adherent Customer gives his informed, express, free and unambiguous consent so that the personal data provided by completing the membership form are included in a file under the responsibility of “Bio Desafios, Lda.”, whose treatment complies with the appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

22 - All personal data provided by the Customer Adhering to the Mercearia Bio Green Card, will be used by “Bio Desafios, Lda.” only within the scope of the Mercearia Bio Green Card, guaranteeing “Bio Desafios, Lda.” total confidentiality in the processing of data.

23 - “Bio Desafios, Lda.” it makes sure that the data are processed only by employees whose intervention is necessary for the provision of the service, being obliged to the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If there is a possibility that the information may be disclosed to third parties, they should be obliged to keep the due confidentiality.

24 - “Bio Desafios, Lda.” maintains a database with the registration of its customers. The data present in this database are only the data provided by the users at the time of their membership, being collected and processed automatically by “Bio Desafios, Lda.”, The entity responsible for the corresponding file.

25 - In no case will information be requested on philosophical or political convictions, party or union affiliation, religious faith, private life and racial or ethnic origin as well as health and sexual life data, including genetic data.

26 - In no case will any of the following activities be carried out with the personal data provided to “Bio Desafios, Lda.”: - Give to other people or other entities, without the prior consent of the data subject; - Transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA), without the prior consent of the data subject.

27 - Adherence to the Mercearia Bio Green Card will be confirmed with the acceptance of these conditions.

28 - When providing consent for the processing of your personal data, under the terms provided for and prescribed in the General Data Protection Regulation, the Adherent Customer is informed that:
(i) they are intended exclusively to identify customers, giving them the right to enjoy all the advantages of the referred Card, receive information related to it, as well as offers and advantages related to the Card, as long as the customer is not object when filling out the registration form or later;
(ii) only the data necessary for the purposes referred to in the previous paragraph were collected and will be processed;
(iii) the data will only be kept for a period of 2 (two) years after the last use of the Card and if, within this period, the Adhering Customer has not withdrawn his consent;
(iv) “Bio Desafios, Lda.” will treat the personal data of the Adhering Customer in accordance with the principle of integrity and confidentiality and exclusively under its responsibility.

29 - Bearing in mind the principle of fairness in the processing of personal data, under the terms provided for in the applicable legislation, the Adhering Customer is, at all times, entitled:
(i) their rectification in the event of anomalies or errors, or in the case of subsequent changes;
(ii) access to all information regarding your personal data;
(iii) the portability of your personal data under the terms of the GDPR;
(iv) forgetfulness.
(v) at any time, change or withdraw your consent, with effect for the future.

30 - The rights referred to in the preceding number must be requested from “Bio Desafios, Lda.” to the email address: cartaofregues@merceariabio.pt.

31 - After the total withdrawal of their declarations of consent, the Adherent Customer will no longer be contacted and receive communications for the purposes described in these Conditions.

32 - In legal terms, the data subject has the right to submit a complaint regarding the protection of personal data to the competent supervisory authority, the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).
