We now have returnable and reusable boxes for the take-away service of Mercearia Bio Café.

Since we launched our take-away service for menus, salads, wraps, toasts and other items we have available in the cafeteria service , that we use boxes made from plants and that can therefore be discarded, after being used, in the organic waste because they are entirely compostable. 

Nevertheless, this was not good enough as we feel that we really have to change the way we behave and rethink our habits in order to have the least possible impact on the environment. So, from now on, we have to replace compostable boxes, reusable plastic boxes, for our Customers .And as they are reusable, their cost is much higher than disposable ones, however we will all gain from this change. 

The Customer will pay an amount for the box, which he will take with him, but on his next visit, when he brings the box, return it at the counter of the Mercearia Bio Café and when paying for his purchases he will see a considerable part of the amount paid for the box deducted from his bill.
