It was originally sold under the name » Mullins Yellow Seedling » until 1916 when the rights were sold to Paul Stark of Stark Brothers Nursery , which renamed to » Golden Delicious » . Nowadays it is very common as a variety of grocery apple and is undergoing rehabilitation among Apple enthusiasts who are rediscovering their potential.
