Open the peppers in half and place them in a glass container with a lid (bottle or jar). Fill half with whiskey and the rest with olive oil to the neck.
If you want to also add garlic, take it to the boil softly for 5 minutes with the olive oil. After cooling remove the garlic and add the olive oil in the container.
Cap the container and mix thoroughly for a few minutes. Store in a cool, dry place for some time (1 month). Before using stir so that everything blends well.
