Bio Farm decided to start with the agricultural project in 2015, but it was only in 2019 that we started "hands on", and the main goal was the production of fresh produce and animal breeding (EGGS) in a healthier way.
Chicken are raised in a traditional and artisanal way and their nourriture is 100% organic based on pasture, vegetables and fruits.
The breeds are Araucanian, with origins in Chile, the giant Jersey, from the USA New Jersey and the Portuguese Pedrês, an indigenous breed.
These chickens lay blue or chocolate or pink eggs, being eggs that have a greater amount of nutrients, vitamins, iron, among others.
The farm is oriented towards a local sale, with the eggs leaving directly from the farm to the stores, without going through sorting centers, which allows the freshest possible eggs to be placed on the local market.
