The Organic Grocery team has now three Associates.
Pedro, the main menthor of the project, born in Sé, Porto, in 1972.
Helena, from Alfama, Lisbon, born in 1967, in charge of the image and creative graphic design of the project.
Helena and Pedro have started the project on the year 2007. They came across in 1999, on a Project called Fábrica do Inglês, in Silves, where Helena was in charge of the Communication and Image Department of the Alicoop group, to which Fábrica do Inglês belonged. Pedro was the Restaurants’ Manager of this Entertainment Park.
They went on to different projects, Helena in 2002, and Pedro in 2003. A good friendship remained as well as the intention to develop other projects together, somewhere in the future.
The Organic Grocery brought us back into this new Project and we are both very happy and committed, with the expectation of converting this Project into a successful company, business wise and corresponding to the social responsibility that we both assumed from the beginning – more health and more environment.
Helena is a Designer, with a background in Marketing and Advertising, with expertise in graphic arts.
Pedro has coursed Hotel Management and has been in the Hospitality Industry for over 14 years. He has left the industry by the end of 2006 to develop the project, that has become a company – Mercearia Bio.
The Organic Grocery has just welcomed on board Nuno Sequeira, that started working with us in the beginning of October 09.
He is 21 years old and he is from Silves.
As a hobby Nuno helps out their parents in their Family vegetables garden, but his true passion is Football. He plays football in the CF Estombarenses.
